Video Editing and Production Centre: Cavalier Studios

Cavalier Studios has 12 in-house camera crews including broadcast standard Betacam SP, DVCAM and mini DV plus a large selection of ancillary Video Editing, Production equipment including lighting rigs, radio mics, monitors, wide angle lens etc. Experience is essential when working to tight deadlines on location and Cavalier only employ fully trained cameramen, lighting operators, sound recordists, producers and directors. With multiple video shoots across the UK and Europe on a regular basis you can trust Cavalier to deliver when it matters. The company has 6 fully air conditioned, non linear digital video editing suites with experienced, creative editors to ensure your video production project is delivered on schedule. Two hardware based MPEG workstations complete the video edit facilities giving extra speed and flexibility for mpeg encoding and authoring of DVD and CD.

DVD DUPLICATION, DVD REPLICATION

Cavalier Studios can provide unrivalled cost effective DVD and mini 8cm DVD DUPLICATION, DVD REPLICATION including full colour on-body printing to fit all budgets. Also available is an unlimited variety of packaging with full colour printed booklets, inlays, sleeves etc. If you need your Master DVD-R creating for you Cavalier Studios have a full MPEG2 encoding and DVD authoring service available.

Alternatively Cavalier Studios can supply blank DVD-R and Mini DVD-R, pre-printed with your supplied logo or graphics.

CD DUPLICATION CD REPLICATION

Cavalier Studios delivers the highest standard, cost effective CD DUPLICATION, CD REPLICATION services together with on-body printing, printed paper parts, packaging and distribution including:

• Glassmastering, replication , on-body silk screen or lithoprint
• CD-ROM or Audio CD, Mini CD and CD Business Card. Also available is a Creative CD which is metalised up to a mini CD then clear up to a full sized CD giving you a unique print opportunity.
• Production of booklets, inlays, inserts, stickers, card wallets, mailers etc.
• Unlimited packaging including standard CD jewel cases, paper, poly or colour card wallets, custom made or standard box and sleeve designs, digipaks and mailing packs.
• Cavalier Studios assists clients with graphic design and film output as well as packaging of CD products with booklets, inlays, brochures and other marketing materials.

video duplication, video to dvd transfer

Cavalier has video duplication, video to dvd transfer facilities from the following sources:

Digibeta, Betacam SP and SX, DVCAM, Mini DV, Digital 8, Hi 8, 8mm, SVHS, VHSC, VHS and worldwide standards conversions to and from PAL / NTSC / SECAM. Any of these formats can be transferred directly to DVD, VHS, Betacam SP, DVCAM and mini DV.

All video duplication is done on Hi-Fi stereo video duplicators and all video duplication is 100% guaranteed. Professional distribution amplifiers by DVC and MW maintain optimum audio and video signal levels to all slave machines ensuring every copy is identical. Professional DVC and MW switchers have been installed to ensure every video copy can be checked for accurate audio reproduction as well as picture quality. Unlike high speed copiers duplication is in ‘real time' giving crisp, clean, sharp images every time. With over 100 video copiers in 3 copy bays, even the most urgent deadline can be met. Multiple video duplication jobs can be run in parallel giving the fastest turnaround times.

MPEG ENCODING

Video compression is crucial, with two state-of-the-art real-time hardware mpeg encoding systems we can ensure optimum mpeg compression rates for the space available on both CD and DVD.

We can accept video footage from virtually all formats and can encode to MPEG1, MPEG2, Quicktime and AVI. There are many other encoding options available on request.

DVD AUTHORING, CD-ROM AUTHORING

When you are looking to impress your clients and customers, a well produced DVD can make all the difference. Whatever the format, we can transfer your corporate/promotional/training video onto DVD for distribution, or produce a looped version for continuous play at exhibitions or on in-store plasma screens.

DVD authoring and mpeg encoding services including backgrounds, menus, chaptering, scene selections, slideshows, sub-menus etc are available. We work closely with our Dvd authoring customers using supplied graphics or we can offer a complete graphic design service to ensure the finished product fully meets your requirements.
